ashbringer, i need to work more on wood hand painted textures... and still not done, need to darken some shadows and add more highlights, maybe some cuts in the metal and wood but just calling it for now and moving onto another one

finished w/ the subdivision modeling, going to start on the lower rez retopo soon


made the highlights pop out more and added more variation of color, did one w/ blood on it but... decided against it, also put more small detail stuff onto the other parts of the sword
so maybe one last pass and call it done

finished retopo of zbrush block in, going to use subdivision modeling to finish it and then low poly for the whole body



made sword armageddon, with a lot less straps
3hrs so far
now that i took a day off from this, i can see that the lighting is very... boring, need to add bigger and bolder highlights to the blade, as well as hilt and add more color, very boring color wise compared to the first sword i made

blizzard panel really inspired me to work harder and keep on practicing hand painting
i wanted to push myself and see how far i could get on a weapon in one sitting, ive hit my limit and i need a break XD

ahh w/e just post what ive been working on XD

own concept, heavily inspired by halo and pacific rim (fav game and fav movie)
1st is fail, didnt like it at all, tried some minor rigging with it XD interesting stuff

2nd not sure if fail or not, i like it but not at the same time
might just go with an already established professional concept




scifi floor from 3dmotive not sure if its done but need to sleep
finished in about 7 hrs? yay first environment piece im okish with =D

working on a character but not gunna post until major parts are done =) or maybe a few snippets here and there
made 2 versions of the character already but not happy with it (own concept) so i will just be making a character based off of an official design
