completely changed the pants and the boots but this time around it was MUCH faster, probably took half the time as it did the first time around
fixed the fingers to not be as bony, and added small detailing like scratches and rips here and there, as well as knitted fabric work
feel like im getting closer and closer to finishing the sculpting portion of this project =D hoorayyy

took a bit of a break from sculpting to get some much needed sleep and did drawing studies of folds and the like... need more practice...
but more concepts for blizzard contest using a draenei female as the character base
changed the proportions a little bit and the facial structure to make it look younger, need to make the hips wider, too narrow

sculpted the hood and the scarf as well as fixed some folds that were bothering me on the legs and chest, just more refinement and adding detail here and there
also finished sub-d modeling the rifle, changed it from the concept a bit so that it made a bit more sense to me...
going to do the cloak tomorrow but still debating if i should keep it as is, to match the concept or change it to make it look more believable... and/or put scratches and etc... on the gun

didnt have much time to model today but stayed up late for a bit to get at least some work done on the character
so got her rifle down, low poly mesh and i need to hi rez it so ill do that tomorrow
just tweeked the rings around the belt to fit the overall shape of the belt
fixed the carrier case on the hip to have a lip for the opening and also modeled a ring that a friend was wearing today, looked very cool to me, although u cant really see the ring in the model, im trying to focus on attention to detail, the small things that make the character come to life and has some sort of background to her
instead of going for a super clean cut look, i wanted to go for a dirty version of the character, one that has just gone out to a firefight and come back all beat up and scratched, hopefully i can manage my time well

sculpted more to face, but was told to go back down sub divisions and continue working out the body and face before i start detailing
but i made adjustments to body and face, added muscles and fat and etc... hopefully the proportions will be good soon to start detailing =)
added belt decorations, learned how to snap things to curves and just have to rotate the rings
added earings and trying to figure out what other accessories i should add to the character

modeling a character, original concept by Christie Haejin Chu
i have received permission to model this character and use it for class and portfolio material as long as i give credit to her for the original concept
ps.
thank you christie
so here are the block ins, low rez just blocking in the clothing and getting ready for zbrush
need to make the holsters and weapons still but might do that later when i get burned out from constant zbrushing
this time around, sculpting and blocking was much easier than the first character
sculpted the body, feet seem a bit small so ill prob make necessary changes along the way
