working on another character, spending some time concepting as i go but also drawing some stuff in pencial and in zbrush to get the general shape of the character

messed around with the transpose tool a bit in zbrush and some settings and things got messed up so the uvs vanished @.@ but eh... just wanted to see wat the character would look like posed XD


maybe final render for the character? hopefully??? im not sure yet haha

did the spec and alphas for all the maps, need to make the gloss for the face and hopefully ill be done
going to make a platform for her to stand on but something really simple XD
then time to start on another character!!!

finished the texturing for the most part for the gun, still need to do spec but will do that once i watch more videos on how to do it...
textured the face... man it took a long time and im still not happy w/ it... @.@

finally done w/ all the baking stuff @.@
going to watch texturing videos and start on that texture!!!

put color into the eye cuz... it just looked creepy without them XD looked like a ghost






ive been re'uving...again (body only, merged the arm uv's) and finished
made the normal bake, and cleaned up all the unwanted fragments and etc... and the bake seemed to come out pretty good =D
baking the ao's now and going to start texturing tomorrow

time to watch a bunch of texturing videos

re-uv'ed everything like 3 or 4 times...i cant remember and tomorrow i will test bake the normals and if that turns out good, then the ao
then finally texturing!!!

normal and ao maps for weapons, first time doing it and this stuff is pretty nifty =D

going to re uv the body, separate them into different maps and do normals/ ao for that too, hopefully by the end of today

finished all the low poly, and uv'ing
adding alphas on the hair and clothing and once thats all finished, going to bake a good normal map and go onto texturing and then make a small setting for her and first portfolio piece done!!!

did a better test bake w/ a better uv layout just to see how it would turn out and a quickly textured and yea... i think its looking pretty snazzy XD but def need more work...

first test bake, not sure what im looking at but looks cool to me!!! XD
so glad i have the base mesh down for the main body, gunna move on to the other clothes now and etc... =D

after many failed attempts at retopoing, finally got a version that i am ok with, for now
going to retopo the other clothes and etc... and start sculpting on the guns
will prob add more details and etc
